It all started with Pravin Rao’s fascination with the luxury hospitality and baking. He combined both these loves to start Sugardough Bakery Cafe. There are many bakeries and cake shops in Pune, and there are many cafes in Pune, but the combination of storefront bakery and cafe was a new concept, introduced by Pravin Rao. He imbibed Sugardough Bakery Cafe with his signature gourmet style cooking, and provided people freshly baked, superior products. His efforts paid off. People loved the concept, the bakery products, the foods and drinks. Soon he was in talks of opening up a second branch, which also turned into a 3rd branch. Today, there are 9 branches, with more being planned across Maharashtra and India.
